Short Term Career Goals:


  • Add Gifted Education K-12 to my Alabama Teaching Certificate.
  • Add Elementary Education (middle years) to my Alabama Teaching Certificate.
  • Continue to implement and strengthen differentiation strategies for gifted learners in my early childhood classroom.
  • Continue to seek opportunities to lead in my school and district.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and other teachers to help facilitate counseling and mentoring gifted learners.
  • Begin to publish curriculum and other resource materials for teachers and administrators hoping to further differentiation for gifted learners in their programs.
  • Seek an appropriate Doctoral Degree program and enroll. (Educational Policy and/or Law).

Long Term Career Goals:


  • Become a published author.
  • Work as a consultant to schools and districts on best practices for differentiation in classroom and school wide instruction.
  • Represent gifted learners and their advocates at the local, state and national levels in government.
